Yoga and the Alexander Technique
2 COUPONS OR $20
Would you like to improve your posture, eliminate chronic pain, reduce tension and stress, and learn a revolutionary yet complementary approach to your yoga practice? Come and learn how the Alexander Technique can help you transform your movement patterns, so you can move better and feel better whether you’re in downward facing dog or just walking the dog. You’ll learn to recognize and release harmful patterns of tension, allowing you to move more efficiently, with less strain on the body. The Technique is a mindfulness practice that can be applied to anything. When applied to yoga your practice can become fueled by curiosity, a sense of expansion, and reliance on the natural buoyancy and internal support of your body. This workshop is appropriate for yogis at all levels and for anyone ready to deepen their understanding of their body and themselves.
