What is Facilitated Stretching?
Yoga w/ Proprioceptive Techniques is a perfect complement to the dynamic and muscular styles of yoga. It appeals to anyone including Triathletes, Marathoners, Dancers and Yoga practitioners who are looking to get a deep gentle stretch of their bodies and calming of their minds.
Proprioceptive Techniques focuses on safely toning, stretching and releasing muscles. Proprioceptive Techniques offers a new and unique approach to safely developing flexibility, strength and stability of our bodies and connection to our minds
- Bill has completed the 200, 300 and 1000 hour Kripalu teacher certifications. He is also a Certified Professional Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT)
- Bill teaches a moderate Kripalu style Vinyasa flow. He also teaches gentle Yoga classes that incorporate Facilitated Stretching which help with safe fluidity and ease of movement
- Past teaching experience includes Kripalu, Vanderbilt YMCA, Rye YMCA, Wainwright House, Scarsdale Yoga Studios and private sessions
- Teaching Assistant for Kripalu and IYT teacher training programs – 200, 300 and 1000hr levels
