Dear BKC Member:

BKC is in a time of transition and renewal. Thank you for your confidence in the Board of Directors to manage the next steps for our community. Your turnout at the meeting on Saturday and responses to our recent email was very encouraging. We are exploring opportunities to create a more robust membership than we have now.

During the next 3 months, we hope to discover options that will draw our community closer than ever. In the meantime, beginning August 1, we have partnered with Rhythms, a beautiful local studio in the Lenox Country Shops, Route 7, Lenox to offer you a full schedule of classes; Saturday morning‘s class will continue to be held at Zaanti. Our teachers are the same, class times, close to what you are used to, and very soon, we will add YogaDance to the schedule. Please understand that class times are limited by the availability of our partner studios. We are continuing to look at class times and additional offerings, including a slow yoga and/or restorative yoga class.

During August we are offering a 3-month membership for new or renewing members. After that, we will re-evaluate the viability of all our options. Please contact Vicky Singer at or Naomi Alson at for membership questions.

We hope you will express your support of the BKC by continuing your membership and attending yoga, qigong, YogaDance and workshops. Continue to use your yoga coupons and pass this email on to friends who would like to join BKC. We will continue to offer potlucks, hikes and special events.

BKC Board of Directors

The BKC is a completely separate organization from Kripalu. It has it’s own nonprofit tax status, board of directors and membership.

Jai Bhagwan: (I Honor the Light Within You) – Hindi greeting used interchangeable with the Sanskrit Namaste.

Namasté: A Sanskrit word meaning “The Light of God in Me recognizes and honors The Light of God in You” and in that recognition is our Oneness.
